ABOUT

Wilfred M. Allen
PhD, ANP-BC

Dr. Allen is an Assistant Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy, McAuley School of Nursing. Dr. Allen’s research interests include the influence of masculinity ideology on health behaviors.

Erik Carter
PhD, APRN-BC, CCNS, CCRN-K

Dr. Carter's clinical experiences include providing acute and critical cardiovascular nursing care to various ethnic and socioeconomic groups. His research includes understanding how environmental and individual factors affect social determinants of health. 

Hawa Alethea Hoff
DNP, MSN, FNP-BC,
BSN, RN

Dr. Hoff is a Medical Science Liaison for a pharmaceutical company, where she exchanges health care intelligence with key external experts. As part of public service, she provides medical services to a clinic for the uninsured.

Saran T. Burnley-Hollier
PhD, RN

Dr. Hollier is an Associate Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy, McAuley School of Nursing. Dr. Hollier specializes in strategic planning, project management, and quality improvement. In addition, she is a researcher and scholar. 

Katina Johnson
BA

Mrs. Johnson has over 15 years of recruitment experience in the areas of banking, automotive and healthcare. She was the dedicated Advanced Practice Provider Recruiter for Henry Ford Health System for over 10 years.

Angela Roman
MSN, RN, FNP-BC

Ms. Roman opened Romancare Health Services in Detroit, MI in 2006. This comprehensive multidisciplinary setting provides services for wellness needs and complex chronic health conditions. 

Nutrena Tate 
PhD, APRN, CPNP-PC

Dr. Tate is a Pediatric Nurse  Practitioner and Tenure Track Assistant  Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy. In addition to teaching undergraduate pediatric nursing and graduate courses, she is a published and funded researcher.
